PCOA Candidate

Good morning everyone,

I hope everyone received their ballots in the mail. However, I noticed that the ballots received differ from those sent in. Someone kindly typed them up, but that overlooks the meticulous attention to detail I included in the application and our signatures. I spent a considerable amount of time on my application, carefully adjusting the lines to ensure everything visually aligned, just as I invested the same effort into our own Park Square community website.

Please find my original application, which I am attaching with my phone number and email information partially concealed. I covered those details just for sharing purposes. I’m also including our Park Square community newsletter to highlight the time and effort I’ve invested as a Park Square board member:

I hope you’ll consider me for the PCOA board. I would put in the same amount of effort into PCOA as I…

I appreciate you Ashley and everyone who volunteers their time and energy to perform what seemingly amounts to a thankless job. We all have a vested interest in Potomac Club. We all should be concerned about SAC (safety, aesthetics, and community) - not only to protect our property values, but to maintain/improve our quality of life. The latter concern is the most difficult and challenging to achieve. As is, agreeing to disagree. But, I’m hoping that a sense of community trumps ongoing divisiveness.

Information Requested

Could someone please share the email address for the architectural committee? I’ve searched the entire site but haven’t been able to find a contact person. I submitted an architectural request for the same storm door that another home has, which was approved for them but denied for me.

Thank you for your reply. I am now asking for the schedule for the architectural committee so that I may attend the next meeting. I am also requesting a complete listing of all members of the committee as they are appointed by the board and this is public information for community members.. Please use this as my formal books and records request for all meetings and emails and decisions regarding my application. I'd also like to point out that my denial through the Barkan portal is not in compliance with the 2024 design guideline amendment.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a company that replaces roofs for a reasonable price?

It’s never too late, Tony to learn something new! I am studying cybersecurity, which is not natural for me. But, I believe that it’s important to learn in this AI driven, tech-savvy world.
